ZIEGELTURM IN ZEITSPIRALE - Construction of the “Brick Tower in Time Spiral” in Donaupark Linz, a monument of work, 1986
Round tower with a base diameter of 3m. 1m high granite base, resting on 4 point foundations. Towards the top, the tower tapers to a gentle slope. The building material is red brick. A granite spiral winds its way up through the brick structure. The top of the tower is a material turbulence. A rotating spotlight was to be mounted on it – one revolution per hour.
Work as a holistically fulfilling activity.
